My epiphany moment for e-commerce was the first Shopify sale notification back in 2017. Since then, I’ve been in the e-commerce space through running my e-commerce store, and now managing my agency.
I started by creating and running my home & decor brand. Started selling to the UK market first, then expanding to the United States.
Being in a competitive market and facing different challenges firsthand, I developed the marketing skills necessary to run an e-commerce brand.
On my journey, I’ve worked with many agencies, but I was never happy with the results.
I would always get back to handling things myself and outsourcing certain tasks. Most of the time, the communication with agencies was just not good enough. More importantly, the results were worse than when I handled marketing myself.
After growing a brand to a certain point, I faced logistical issues that led me to close it.
I closed the store but continued doing what I was the best at — marketing e-commerce brands.
With the experience and a direct understanding of the problems store owners face, I started Seven Ecom.
